About the Team

Mo Surrey is a Priest in the Church of England and serves in the parish of St John, Flixton in Manchester.  She has always enjoyed working with Christians across a wide variety of denominations.  She is a part time hospital chaplain and is the founder of Be Still with God.

Mo has been married to husband Sid for over 40 years and is mother to two grown up and married children and a grandmother of two.

Julie Smallman a Yorkshire Lass, has worked in the community as a nurse and is now currently working as a counsellor.

She works in private practice and volunteers for a charity with Asylum Seekers and Refugees. Julie was a pastor’s wife for a number of years and loves standing alongside people in prayer. She has been married to Graham for 36 years and has two grown up children.

Vicki De Hoxar is a retired doctor. She spends 5 months of the year with her husband in Slovakia. They take the message of Father’s love to the people there. She delights in seeing Father’s love touching peoples’ hearts and transforming their lives.

Vicki has been married to Robert for over 40 years. They have 2 daughters and 4 grandsons.

Sarah Haynes has a passion to see the body of Christ enter into the fullness of who it is called to be and loves the variety of expressions that there are within the church. She believes the journey into stillness is deeply transformational and that it is from this place of abiding in Jesus, hearing His voice personally to us, that everything else flows.

Sarah has been involved with a number of different projects across the business, educational and charity sectors and has a background in delivering training, project coordination and entrepreneurial support. She has a heart for cross-cultural work, reconciliation and spiritual formation.

Chris Adams completed work as an optometrist at 55 to join the prayer/ministry team of Ellel Ministries in Lancaster.   With Sheila, his wife, he has taught and ministered at the UK centres and in Eastern Europe. He is convinced of God’s passion for healing and restoration.

Andy McDade is a retired teacher who constantly enjoys discovering more about God. He has been married to Barbara for over 35 years and they have two sons.
